About the Exhibition
In late 2006 I travelled to Rajasthan in NorthWest India armed with a camera and an ambitious plan to photograph the wildlife. Although I had a reasonable appreciation of Indian geography, history and culture, I didn't know really what to expect as this was to be my first experience in the region.
I was in for a surprise. No amount of planning could have prepared me for what I was to discover. The sheer beauty of the region was overwhelming - the people, the culture, the landscape and above all, the spectacular, glorious colour. I became colour addicted.
Wildlife photography was now off the agenda. Almost without realising it, I had embarked on an unplanned journey - a Journey Through the Colours of Rajasthan.
